This oblong decoupage dish features an original collage made with images from a collection of vintage books, cards and magazines. The image was inspired by the back of a postcard sent to a Mademoiselle Guenare in Paris some 100 years ago. The romantic motif includes a bicycle inside an ornate tea cup, a flower and a flower bud, a postage stamp, a tiny butterfly and some lovely old-fashioned script. The dish is painted, varnished, and finished with an artist’s seal on the back. It looks stunning as alternative wall art or displayed on a console table in the home or office. Would make a great present for the cyclist in your life.
